- The Chantilly Arts & Elegance Tour-

The first stage in our coverage of the Arts & Elegance event organized by Patrick Peter, one of the year's highlights in terms of quantity and quality. Let's start with the classic car rally, the 'Chantilly Arts & Elegance Tour' which got underway early on Saturday morning. The evening before, a rather drunken reception was held at the Château de Chantilly, and the least we can say is that not all competitors left on time.

There were some very fine automobiles at the start, including a pair of Bentley Type R Continental, a Talbot Lago T26 Grand Sport Motto, a couple of Bugatti Type 55, a Citroën SM Chapron Mylord, two Hispano Suiza H6 Torpedo, the Lamborghini Miura P400 from the film "The Italian Job", a Ferrari 275 GTB, a 512 BB and a 625 TF, as well as a Chaparral Mk1.
