- Chantilly Arts & Elegance, The Concours -
Let's move on to the main course of the Arts & Elegance weekend at Chantilly de Chantilly, the Concours d'Etat, divided into 17 classes, plus the Concepts Cars /Avant Première class. As fate (or the organizers) would have it, for the first time at a Concours d'Elegance, a class called "Bugatti, The Revival" was dedicated to the Bugatti EB110, coinciding with the launch of the book "The EB110 and the Last Racing Cars". Nice timing. Another highlight of this year's event will be several classes dedicated to the Touring coachbuilder, who has lived through several eras and produced some of the most important pieces in the history of the automobile.
The winners of this year's Best of Show in the Concours d'Etat were the pre-war Hispano-Suiza H6C Dubonnet Xenia (1938) and the post-war Talbot Lago T26 GS Barchetta Motto (1950).
The best of show of the Concours d'Elegance is the Aston Martin DBR22. Let's look at the different classes together .

Bugatti, The Revival

A beautiful setting with a line-up of Bugatti EB110s, and not just any Bugatti, since apart from the EB110 SC, they were all sold new in France. This was all it took to make the French launch of the book "The EB110 and The Last Bugatti Racing Cars" a real success.
Class victory for the EB110 Le Mans, the most tricolored of the Italian cars, which was to win in France.
