Note : This car is a master piece of the Campogalliano history. 39008 is not a Supersport version but an EB110 GT prototype used as a cosmetic mule for the Supersport version. For the first time, the mirrors and the GT front bumper show their definitive shape, as well as the back spoiler and the "window in window" system. In the same way, the 39008 BBS rims will be use for the production version of the Supersport, as the interior. Contrariwise, the sill's door is still high, typical from early GT prototypes. More, the body front panel rear the front wheel has not the vertical opening for brake aeration, the lateral plate rear the lateral window has 9 holes instead of the 5 ones for the definitive model, the rear window is a plate with 2 giants Naca air intakes, the back air wing is a static one, with a central dual pods. The front spoiler is not a definitive Supersport one because there are not the lateral deflectors yet. 39008 had been seen in Monaco during the 1992 F1 Grand Prix and were exhibited at different car shows (sometimes with black rims and slick tires).

The 39008 car seemed to have known a lot of evolutions during years and have been tested in january 1994 in the South of France at the Circuit du Luc, during a press day organized by the french Bugatti importer E. Bensoussan. Some informations seems to suggest 39008 was used for crash test.
