Year : GT chassis built in 1993. Car exposed at the Birmingham Motor Show 1994.

Note : #39055 is a very special model because based on a GT chassis, but built as a Supersport (with a GT spoiler), with a Supersport engine (611 bhp). This is the only existing RHD model and at last, this model was fully reconditioned by Dauer. With the help of his current owner, here is the history of this unique model :
" The car was built as an SS on a GT chasey for the 1994 Motor Show (documentation from Jean Borel and Federico Tombi of Bugatti). The previous owner sent it to Dauer for a complete rebuild, new interior, increased the HP by a further 50HP above SS specifications."

The list of the modifications is quite large:
"New shocks + springs
New brake discs + brake pipes
New petrol tanks
12 x New engine pistons (to a higher spec)
Engine was completely rebuilt
New exhaust system installed
New carbon fibre rear wing
New radiator + cooling system
New air con system
New oil coolers
New turbos
Every oil and water piper was replaced.
Dauer changed the pistons because original SS units have been know to fail, these new devices increase the compression ratio and along with the new free flow exhaust help increase the horsepower to around 645hp.
Because Dauer bought the entire contents of the Bugatti factory at the bankruptcy auction in 1997 he had 1000's of every single EB110 component, thus we did a deal where he simple replaced everything at a fixed cost, even minor items such as interior parts were replaced regardless of their condition. The interior was then totally refurbished including a new sound system with a DVD player with reversing camera system was installed. Owners handbook + fully stamped service book  - Bugatti, Dauer + HR Owen (offical Bugatti service centre). This vehicle was the only right hand drive model produced by the factory and was the 1994 Birmingham motor show car where they announced they were going to produce RHD versions. Security Alarm and immobiliser with remote door opening facility and tracker horizon installed. "
