Rosso Scuro
United Kingdom

The GT 39061 was completed on late december 1993, finished in Rosso Scuro with the light Camoscio leather interior. The car was ordered in Switzerland via the importer Chevalley and licensed in the Vaud canton (VD 4728 Z). However, the car was stored in the south east of France, in St Paul de Vence in the late 90's.
1999 : The car was for sale at the Ferrari dealer Auto Palace in Le Cannet (France) and GT39061 was sold in Belgium, and licensed there.
2002 : The GT39046 was exhibited in the Alvan Motors show room in Gent (Belgium).
2003, Aug : The imbroglio...
During The Concours d'Elegance of Paleis Het Loo, in Apeldoorn (Netherlands), an auction was organized by Christie's. The Bugatti EB110 GT chassis 39096 was proposed for sale and used for the description and the catalogue's photoshoot. By some magic trick, it seems that the 39061 car replaced the 39096 on the day of the sale.
The 39096 car was previously offered for sale by the Dutch garage Van Asselt and it is possible that the car was sold just before the auction.
Since 39061 has an identical configuration and was also on sale not far away (in Belgium), it has perhaps judiciously replaced 39096.
The 39061 car had 20278 km on the odomoter.
2014 : The come back

The GT39061 reappears in the hands of S. Kidston who makes a road trip from Switzerland to Campogalliano, to join the SS39025 at the old Bugatti factory. The car was licensed in UK (BUG 110).

A really nice movie, "The forgotten Supercar" was realized with Loris Bicocci, one of the Bugatti test driver, with the two EB110s.

On the way back to Italia, Kidston makes a crochet by the Principality of Monaco to attend the historic Grand Prix. The car was parked in front of the Hermitage Palace.
Since, the car has been sold (location still unknwon).
