The Bugatti EB110 GT chassis GT040 was ordered in the traditional Blu Bugatti with the dual tone of greys interior, and ordered with the very expensive Supersport's seven-spoke wheels option. The first owner was a sheikh from Saudi Arabia but it seems the car was stored in UK. Later, the car was sold to the USA.
In 2003, the GT040 was exported back to the UK and joined a famous car collector. It was offered for sale in 2005 during the Christie's auction "Exceptional Motor Cars and Automobilia" and was sold to Switzerland. In 2013, the car was bought back by its former UK owner.
