While most of the Supersport on chain were stopped, a group of cars were finished between the end of 1994 and 1995. What they have in common was that they are neither US nor European versions. Only the cars for the special specification markets were able to escape the lack of parts. However, it is likely that the parts for the interior came from the development cars of Reparto Esperienza, which served as a parts bank.
The Bugatti EB110 Supersport chassis SS34 was ordered via the Bugatti importer of Austria, Bruno De Cillia in Villach Landskron, with many specificities : first, the car was fitted with a chassis number associated with the Middle East market, not the Austrian one. Then, the color was specific to this model, a Grigio Azzurro that seems to be a classic Grigio Chiaro finished with a tainted-blue lacquer. This color was the same than the prototype C12 of the 1992 Mondial of Paris Motorshow. Finally, the interior is a complete GT version cockpit, in a one-tone Blu Scuro leather. Due to problems with the Hungarian justice, the owner could not take delivery of the SS34 and finally the importer De Cillia kept the car. The car is still in Austria today, licensed in UK. |
