The EB110 Supersport (called Sport Stradale in some Bugatti adverts) is the more radical version of the EB110: lightening of the total weight, 610 bhp engine and ultra sporting definition of the chassis and suspensions. Exterior details are specific to the Supersport version : fixed air wing (inclination manually adjustable), 5 lateral air inlet holes instead of the lateral window (first prototypes with 7 holes), Type 55's style rims, brake cooling aeration located behind front wheels, more agressive spoiler with an aerodynamic plate at the basis. The interior is lightened too with a simplified transmission tunnel and doors, 2 Recaro seats, manual windows...etc.
A special engine evolution of the SS have been proposed, the "Le Mans" specifications : 700 bhp, cockpit controlled adjustable boost system, carbon bodywork (?). It seems that only 3 models were fitted with this option.
The EB110 SS production period was really short because the set up of the car was quite long : from the late 1993 to the early 1995 years. The SS number is around 30 models (unofficially 31).
