The Bugatti EB110 GT chassis GT050 was ordered in Blu Bugatti, with the standard dual tone greys interior. It was delivered in Germany via the Belgian distributor Alvan Motors. In 1996, the Bugatti importer for Austria, De Cillia, sold the GT050 to a customer from Vienna. After some years spent in Austria, the car was imported back in Germany and was offered for sale at the Movendi classic cars dealer (Dusseldorf). The GT050 was exhibited at several classic car shows (Retromobile, Essen, Leiria) and was sold in Portugal.
In 2022, Bonhams offered it for auction at the Palais Ephémère in Paris where the car was sold for more than 2 M€, confirming the increasing value of the car on the market.
