The Bugatti EB110 Supersport chassis SS01 was ordered in Grigio Chiaro Met. with a one tone Blu Scuro interior. It was ordered after the C9 presentation at the 1992 Geneva Motorshow but was put into production in late 1993 only after the Supersport development phase. It was completed just before the end of the year. The car, as the 2 next ones, were ordered by the Sultanate of Brunei, which specified to have the 3 first numbers. The car was delivered in Brunei in the beginning of the 1994 year and licensed in the Sultanate. This car was fitted with a commemorative plate. In 2002, the SS01 was exported to UK (perhaps to follow the exile of Jeffri Bolkiah), still licensed in Brunei but with another plate. It was registered later in UK and offered for sale in 2007 at the Bonhams Auction in London. The car remained in UK.
