The Bugatti EB110 Supersport chassis
SS17 was a factory car, intended to be a US version prototype. It was the first EB110 with the new nose, specific to the US version, but the rear bumper and spoiler were still european one. The dashboard was a european version, except the speedometer, graduated both in miles/h and km/h.development. The car was finished in Grigio Chirao with a one tone Blu Scuro interior. The SS17 has been loaned by the factory (in exchange for a deposit) to the Monaco Racing Team (MRT), held by Gildo Pallanca Pastor in order to be customized for driving on ice (the car was heavier to improve the motricity, EB110 GT rims were fitted with Michelin tires without spikes, side mirrors were removed). In march 1995, GP Pastorreached the speed of 296.34 km/h, average speed on 1 km launched. After the bankruptcy of the factory, Pastor bought the car and kept it in Monaco until 2015. It was then sold and few years later, reached a private collection in Switzerland. |
