The Bugatti EB110 Supersport chassis SS24 was a Supersport ordered in Grigio Scuro, with a one-tone Nero Inchios interior. The SS24 was perhaps used for media purposes before a delivery to Germany. However, it seems the seller, after a violent frontal impact, destroyed the car before the customer can receive it.
According to some documents, SS24 was taken back to the factory to be dismantled.
In 1997, the chassis and registration papers were sold to Dauer at the factory's assets auction. From then on, the SS24 became a "Split Car", that is to say the chassis and the papers were separated and 2 cars were built.
See the Dauer section to the see the post Bugatti life of the car.
