The Bugatti EB110 Supersport chassis SS36 was recorded as a European version and that is probably the explanation why the car was not completed before the bankruptcy. The chassis and the bodyshell have been assembled but without the running gear or the motorization.
In 1997, during the auction, the SS36 was displayed with a US front nose, probably coming from the white SS30, still unfinished too. The car was sold to the German company Dauer that separated this car in two lots, the homologation title of SS36 from one side and the uncomplete car on the other side.
