Rétromobile, the 2008 edition

A little trip to Paris in order to visit the biggest classic car show in France, Rétromobile, whose principal topic this year is the woman and the automobile. It's always difficult to make good pics in this kind of car show where in one hand, the barriers are close to the cars, and in the second hand, the light is really insufficient. However, a lot of legendary cars were present at this edition : a lot of Bugatti and especially a Type 50 Superprofilée and a 57 Atalante, some Ferrari with a 250 GT Spyder California LWB, a 330P or 246S, 3 nices Lamborghini Miura (P400, SV and a targa "SVJ like"). Two heartbreakers for me : the Maserati 5000 GT Allemano and the Iso Grifo GL targa.

During the exhibition, Bonhams organizes an auction sale of cars of prestige. Three prestigious Mercedes were proposed for the sale this year : a Sauber C3, a Saoutchik Type S and a 500K cabriolet A. A fantastic red and black Bugatti Type 57 Atalante too.

Again a nice edition this Rétromobile 2008 session. A special mention for the stand of Lecoq, the most original and good looking of the exhibition, with cars placed perfectly well to admire them and photograph them... rather rare on this show!
The next update will be the Artcurial sale, that has held at mid February, in Paris.
