The Concours d'Elegance of Saint Cloud

The first edition of the Concours d'Elegance of Saint Cloud occured at the end of june 2008. This event could be compared to a "Bagatelle revival", a classic car exhibition in France that disappeared few years ago. I didn't have many time to visit the exhibition and it wasn't a good thing because there were many interesting cars to see, such as the famous Bugatti T41 Royale Coupé Napoléon from the Mulhouse museum, an interesting group of Delahaye or cars for sale by Bonhams, with two masterpieces, a Pegaso Z102 and an Alfa Romeo Tipo 6C 2500.

Classic and recent legendary cars could be seen at Saint Cloud like a De Tomaso Mangusta, some Facel Vega with a wonderful dark green Facel II, a Jaguar XJ220, one of the four Aston Martin Lagonda Tickford LWB...etc, an orange Porsche 959 made a short appearance, just for my pleasure!
