Bonhams Sales- Paris 2009

The first Bonhams auction I can see this year (perhaps I will try to see Monaco and Geneva ones), organised during the Rétromobile show in Paris. The actual crisis is not the best moment for good sales but exceptionnal models are never severely affected by the economic climate, and the results for the two Bugatti, the ex. Roland Garros T18 "Black Bess" and the T57S Atalante "Barn find" are the best proof : €2,427,500 and €3,417,500 respectively.
Except these two jewels of Molsheim production, an interesting Ital Design Aztec registered in Italia, a Duesenberg Model J, a Maserati 5000 GT Allemano, a Ferrari 250 GT SWB finished in deep blue, and a Citroën SM Opera were proposed for sale.
