"Les Grandes Marques" in Monaco is the annual sale organized by Bonhams during the F1 GP's week. Some privates collections were presented to the auction and in particular, a part of the Slavic Collection.
The result of the auction was quite poor with not so many transactions. The masterpieces of the sale were the Ferrari F40 LM #79891 (sold for €964,500), the Ferrari 575 GTC Competizione #F131MGT2208 (sold for €370,500), the 1966 Porsche type 906 Chassis #906 101 (sold for €579,500) and the 1938 BMW 328 Roadster #85207 (sold for €376,000).
Except for these successes, many interesting models were not sold such a trio of historic Alfa Romeo (6C 2500 Super Sport Cabriolet 1948, 2600 cabriolet Superleggera 1939, 6C 1500 MM Speciale 1928) a duo of Lamborghini Miura (P400 and SV), a 1967 Maserati Mistral 4000 Spyder, a Ferrari 333SP Barchetta #040, a 1988 Porsche 959 (ex-Herbert von Karajan and Aga Khan), a 1939 Alfa Romeo 2600 cabriolet Superleggera, a 1938 Rolls-Royce Phantom III Cabriolet.
