My first auction of the year with the Artcurial session, organized during the Retromobile show, in Paris. Perhaps less cars than last year and an exhibition area really unadapted to pictures, but some great models however and an impressive total sale volume of 13,5 millions of euros.

The star of the auction was the ex Roger Vadim Ferrari 250 GT Spyder California, owned until now by Mr Bajol, sold for 4,5 millions of euros, a great score. Nicest pieces were a Bizzarini 5300GT Strada, a black Ferrari 365 GTB4 plexi, the ex Nigel Mansell Ferrari F40, a black Ferrari 250 GT Boano, a french Lancia 037 Stradale, a 1964 Facel Vega Excellence, a 1937 Mercedes 540 K cabriolet B, an impressive 1913 Delaunay Belleville Type O6 8L and a couple of Delahaye, with a 135 M Cabriolet Malmaison and a wonderful 135 MS Cabriolet by Franay, that remained unsold.
