Parade
des Pilotes, Le Mans 2012 |
The
Parade des Pilotes exhibition, annually organized in the heart of Le
Mans city, is a must for all exclusive cars' lovers, with the presentation
of exhuberant supercars. Once again, road works disrupt logistics of
the parade and a new location was found to exhibit cars... despite the
fact that it put the mess in the organization, it helps to have the
car much more accessible. This year, many cars were already seen on past years but it's always incredible to see such supercars in the street : Bugatti Veyron, Koenigsegg Agera, Gumpert Apollo S, Spyker C8 Aileron, Pagani Zonda PS...etc. Concerning the news, the star of the Parade was for me another Koenigsegg, a red model of the Agera R. Until now, the design of the Agera left me skeptical compared to the CCX, but this red Agera has come to make me change my mind. Other interesting things were the Spano GTA, the Rimac Concept One (seen in Villa D'Este), the funky Nissan Juke R, a Lamborghini Aventador, a Wiessman MF5 GT and a wonderful Excalibur group, with in particular two splendid Roadster versions, with a gorgeous red serie IV and a black serie III. |
