For the 15th anniversary of the Gumball 3000, the rally chose a Scandinavian profile with flag drops in Copenhagen (Denmark) and steps in Stockholm (Sweden) and Helsinki (Finland). The Gumball went toward East to St Petersburg (Russia) and accrossed Europe via Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Austria, italia and the the chequered flag was in Monte Carlo, for the F1 Grand Prix week end.
Very strange vehicles were in the entry list this year with, for example, an incredible replica of the last Batmobile, a Nissan R35GTR-based Galag TG1, a Baja car called Rally Fighter or the Olsson's Caresto Rebellion. Some newly marketed car too with the last declination of the Mercedes SLS tuned by AMG, the Black Series version, the new Morgan AeroCoupe and two Oakley Design Lamborghini Aventador. Let's note a wonderfull Koenigsegg CCXR from Sweden and a classic Lamborghini Countach 4000S, that showed an outstanding reliability on a journey of 4000 km!
