A new update dedicated
to the Aston Martin Centenary, with the area concerning
the racing cars of the brand, with many legendary
models : the Le Mans winner DBR1, the two most known
DB4 GT Zagato, VEV1 and VEV2 and the 3 DP models,
DP212, DP214 and DP215.
The early cars were there too with some Ulster, the 50's with the
DB3 and DB3S, the 60's with the Lola T70 mkIII, the 80's with the
Nimrod NRAC, the AMR1 and the actual competition cars with the DBR9,
V8 Vantage GTE and GT2 and AMR One.
The second part is dedicated to the famous James Bond 007's
Aston Martin cars, with the interesting idea to show the
stunt cars from the Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace movies. Except
the young DBS V12, exhibited models were the DB5 from Skyfall, the
V8 Saloon Vantage upgraded from The Living Daylights and the Vanquish
from Dye Another Day.
Finally, the last part is the exhibition of a selection of cars with
in particular a Shooting Brake version of the DB5,
a Long Wheel Base prototype of the V8 EFi, some actual
cars with the first world presentation of the Vanquish II
Volante, 2 new One off from Zagato with
quite interesting interpretation of a DB9 Volante and a DBS V12 Coupé,
and the Bertone Jet cars, with the most expensive Aston ever sold
during an auction, the 3,2 million £ Bertone DB4GT Jet,
and the two last declination, the Vanquish based Jet2
and the last Rapide shooting brake Jet 2+2.
