Rétromobile - 2016

Since several years, the Rétromobile car show is one of the major event in Europe for collectible cars enthusiasts, and become bigger and bigger. This growth is still on going with a 2016 edition with a huge amount of interesting cars.

This year, from the proposed exhibition, few have caught my interest except for the one dedicated to "Women in the Race".

So this year, the collectible automobile sellers exhibition were the main attraction of this show, with the usual "big" participants like Lukas Huni AG, Fiskens, Thiesen, Movendi, Axel Schuette or The Gallery Brummen.

Lukas Hüni AG
The stand of the Swiss dealer is always one of the hot spot of the Rétromobile exhibition, and this year the highlight is a triplet of english sportcars : Jaguar D Type, Jaguar XKSS and Aston Martin DB3S. Don't forget the couple of Bugatti with a Type 55 and a known but always wonderfull Type 57SC Atalante.

The Gregor Fiskens is another must see of all editions with an eclectic selection of highly collectible cars : Porsche 356 Abarth, Alfa Romeo Tipo 33, Ferrari 365 California, Ferrari 512M or a prototype of the famous Jaguar E Type Lightweight.

Thiesen and Axel Schuette
The two german dealers brought many rarities that are a delight for the amateur: Maserati 5000 GT, Iso Grifo 7L with sunroof, Lamborghini 400 GT, BMW 507, an Aston Martin Short Chassis Volante, a Ferrari 365 GTS4 and a Ferrari 250 GT SWB.
