The RM Auctions / Sotheby's at Les Invalides in Paris was the third auction organized during the "Parisian Automobile week" in February. Even if the sale is the most modest of the 3, compared with Artcurial or Bonhams with almost 200 cars offered for sale, the RM Auctions is an opportunity not to be missed for collectible automobile enthusiasts. The set on display was really attractive with a large set of italian sportcars, in particular a Ferrari 400 Superamerica LWB and a supercar triplet from Maranello with a F40, a F50 and a black Enzo.
Let's stay with italian beauty with a stunning bronze Maserati Bora, a Lamborghini Countach 5000S finished in an unusual yellow (not the best color shade for the Gandini work of art), another yellow V12-powered diva with a plexi Ferrari 365 GTB4 and an Alfa Romeo Giulia Tubolare Zagato. Other cars of interest were a BMW 507 fitted with an hardtop, a Facel Vega HKII and a 1955 Porsche 550 Spyder. This chassis number 550-0068 was on display at the 1955 Francfort Motorshow.
