The RM Auction Sotheby's organized in the Sporting of Monaco during the Historic Grand Prix was the biggest sale of the week auctions, with many highlights such a 1968 NART Ferrari 275 GTS/4, a 1948 Tucker 48, a 1972 Ferrari 365 GTS4, a 1997 road legal conversion Porsche 911 GT1 Evo or a 1951 Ferrari 340 America Barchetta.

The car exhibition took place in the ballroom and in the underground parking of the Sporting building. The ballroom is a wonderful place composed of mirrors and lacquered surfaces, quite photogenic but the underground parking, even if I must admit the scenery was really successfull, was a nightmare for pictures, with very colored lights pointed toward cars. The idea was good but the recruitment of a new lighting is needed. Despite this, the sale was at a very high quality level and represents one of the major sales of 2016.
