The traditional Artcurial sale during the Le Mans Classic event occured in a tricky period for auctioners. The 2016 results show a general decrease in the prices and many models remain unsold for the vast majority of auctions.
Even if the total sale result reach more than 9 millions € for Artcurial, much of the outstanding models has not been sold. Only the Porsche 935 and the Mercedes 300 SL Roadster changed hands, for 1.3 and 0.95 million € respectively.
The selection of cars were nevertheless interesting, including a 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB, a 1947 Delage D6 3L biplace, a couple of rally cars from Lancia, with a Delta S4 stradale prototype and a 037 Martini, a nice Ferrari selection with a 365 GTC4 finished in a rare white color, a Testarossa Spyder Lorenz & Rankle, a 330 GTS and a F40, and some english rarities with a Rolls-Royce Camargue and a wonderfull Suffolk red Aston Martin V8 Vantage Volante, with only 1550 km on the clock.
