Part 2- The Classics

2019 was the year of the 110th anniversary of the Bugatti brand. A number that is bound to be symbolic for all Bugatti EB110 enthusiasts. For the occasion, I was fortunate enough to be invited to this celebration, called the "Grande Fête", held in the heart of the Bugatti factory on the Château Saint Jean estate in Molsheim-Dorlisheim.
The Bugatti teams made it big, bringing together nearly a hundred Bugatti Classics, dozens of Veyron cars, and incredible Chiron line-up. The icing on the cake, the beautiful Italian diva were not forgotten with a magnificent display of EB110s, including an aluminum prototype.

This second part is dedicated to the Classic models, with almost one hundred cars on display on the factory's grass. Even if we can regret the high number of non-original models, some very beautiful pieces were exhibited : the T41 Royale Binder (owned by VW), some cars from the Mulhouse museum with a T55 Supersport or a wonderful T46 Superprofilée, a lot of T57 (Atalante, Galibier, a Koux Atlantic...), a couple of T101 (Antem and Guilloré) or some race cars such a brutal T51A.


As soon as I arrived in Molsheim/Dorlisheim, I thought I would intercept the Bugatti rally in the pretty village of Rosheim, at the south of the factory. A few classics passed in front of me but I realized too late that there was another road around the village... I got fooled!
So, the next day, without taking any pictures of the Alsatian landscapes, I will be satisfied with the cars lined up in the factory yard.
