Bugatti EB110 : 30 Anni
Campogalliano (I)

September 15, 1991 - September 15, 2021. 30 years, that's the time that separates these two events: the official presentation of the Bugatti EB110 at La Défense in Paris and the celebration of the 'Bugatti Automobili' adventure in the town of Campogalliano, the small Italian town that is home to the famous 'The Blue Factory'.
This weekend of September, there were many occasions to gather the EB110 family. The anniversary of the presentation of the C6 prototype of course but also one of the last possibilities to organize an event in the old factory, dedicated to big changes in the future, not necessarily all very positive. They were all there, Romano Artioli, Renatta Kettmaier, Giampaolo Benedini, Dieter Gass, Pavel Rajmis, Loris Bicocchi and all the others for one evening to relive that weekend in 1991, with the C6 prototype enthroned in the middle of the rotunda, as it had been 30 years earlier. They were also there the Bugatti EB110 cars, 12 of them, to which we can add the rolling model of the Centodieci, brought by Bugatti SAS.
On the slightly rainy Sunday, the town of Campogalliano unveiled the new town panel, paying tribute to the Bugatti EB110. This was the occasion to see the EB110 parading around the town, up to the town hall, where the inauguration ceremony took place in the presence of the mayor and Romano Artioli.

During the first day, the event was organized around photo sessions under a beautiful sun. The cars are positioned in alternating order in key areas of the Blue Factory.
The GT080, as beautiful as ever in this lovely Rosso Scuro, stands out perfectly against the white facades of the assembly hall.
An unexpected but very welcome presence, coming straight from Greece, it's the old factory press car, the GT025 chassis, tested in countless magazines and used for official photos. Equipped with a very strong engine (to make the journalists' lap times go wild), it is also the only EB110 with a lift system, allowing to raise the suspension height.
Two other GT in Grigio Chiaro color were present, the GT060 and the GT102.
The C6 prototype is obviously one of the most famous EB110, as it is the very first EB110 built on a carbon chassis, with the new body style, mainly designed by Gandini. This is the car that will be presented at La Défense, in Paris, with Alain Delon on board, almost 30 years ago to the day.
The two racing cars of the brand, the EB110 Le Mans of 1994 and the EB110 Sport Competizione of 1995, present together on many automobile events for a few years
Another GT in an unusual color, the GT031 painted in Verde Scuro.
Another first with the release of the GT075, the EB110 that was on display at the Swiss Autobau museum for many years and recently sold.
Some pictures of the GT059 and a recent Supersport rebuild, strangely bearing the chassis number SS21.
The non-thermal version of the Centodieci, used for presentations..
During this evening, many members of the Bugatti team are gathered, starting with Romano Artioli and his wife of course, but also many engineers of the time (Pedrazzi, Dieter Gass, Pavel Rajmis), the architect Giampaolo Benedini, the designer Steeve Bernaud and many workers of the time, recalling beautiful memories, around the proto C6 installed in the middle of the rotunda. A magic moment.
The next day, the cohort of Bugatti EB110 leave in convoy from the factory to go to the town hall square, in the center of Campogalliano. Welcomed by the town's mayor, Romano Artioli discovered the town's new sign indicating that this is the birthplace of the EB110.
Another beautiful moment with the family of the EB110, which closes perhaps the book of the Blue Factory, since many works of rehabilitation will start, and whose finality remains as unknown as worrying.
