- Artcurial at Retromobile 2022- The delayed date of Rétromobile having upset my organization, I had to content myself with taking a look at the vehicles presented by the auction house Artcurial only after the sale. A number of lots had already left the show but most of the masterpieces were still there. For once, the gem of the sale is not an original car but a recreation. The Bugatti Type 57 Aerolithe, which disappeared during the war, was rebuilt on a T57 chassis, scrupulously following the techniques of the time, in particular its body made of Elektron, which required riveting the body panels together. The result is breathtaking and brings back to life a myhtical car. The other highlight is the dispersal of the Leandri collection of Italian sports cars, with a Ferrari supercars quartet composed of a Ferrari F40, F50, Enzo and LaFerrari models. Also of note is the sale of the first Facel Vega prototype, the Vega 54, two well known Porsche racing cars with a 907 and a 911 RSR 3.0, a series of Bandinis and some Alfa Romeo Zagatos.
