- Le Mans Classic 2022 -
part 3. German Cars
Le Mans Classic is a special event in terms of its scale and intensity. For a spotter, it's like a marathon: there's so much to see, over miles and miles. The 2022 edition took place in bright sunshine, and the crowds were out in force. To capture the event, I chose to divide the photo reports by country and by brand.

For this third session, the German cars.
German cars with a bit of exclusivity are a little harder to find, but there were some nice pieces, in particular a Bitter CD (autographed on its dashboard by Erich Bitter, the brand's founder), a coupé based on the Opel Diplomat. Less exotic, the usual manufacturers such as Porsche and Mercedes made the trip with quite a few nice items, including a beautiful Mercedes 500 SEC Koenig. For Porsche, in addition to the Carrera GT and 918 supercars, a rare 993 turbo S was on display in the middle of the central ring.
