The British Welcome is a meeting organized in the small Sarthoise town of Saint Saturnin, on the Friday before the 24-hour Le Mans drivers' parade.
The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, with cars arriving and departing as they please.
This year's Aston Martin line-up included an incredible AMR Rapide, a V8 Vantage MkIII F1 Edition, the usual imposing Vantage V600 and a superb pair of Vanquishes.
The indoor exhibition was dedicated to Ferrari, but the models were rather common except for a 365 GTB4 and a blue SF90. On the outside, a number of Ferraris featured original configurations, including an English green 812 Superfast and a blue 812 GTS with caramel interior.
Among the slightly more exotic brands, a beautiful Lamborghini Diablo was present, painted in a pretty coral orange typical of Miuras, and, rarer in our country, a Zimmer Golden Spirit, registered in France. |
