- Artcurial The W Collection, from Stockholm to Monaco - A change of scene with Car Week Monaco, organized during the Grand Prix Historique in May. Artcurial opens the ball in the reception room of the Hôtel Fairmont, located in the famous Spélugues hairpin bend. The sale is dedicated to the dispersal of a unique private collection from Sweden owned by Staffan Wittmark, known as the W Collection. Comprising 44 vehicles announced without reserve prices, mainly Porsche 911s and classic Ferraris, the major pieces were Italian: Ferrari 250 GT California LWB (sold well below its estimate at €5.18m), 250 GT SWB, 275 GTB, 330 GTS, 275 GTS or 250 GT Lusso. An attractive trio of Mercedes 300 SLs was also on offer, with a Gullwing concours state and 2 Roadsters. It should be noted that a large number of lots, particularly the most prestigious, were sold at prices significantly below the lowest estimates.
