The Ferrari Tour is a series of international driving events reserved for Ferrari owners, of course. At the end of 2024, the destination was the Aquitaine region, near Bordeaux.
Except that the Atlantic coast at the end of September is generally well-watered, and this Sunday morning in Bordeaux was a perfect example. So it was with my best umbrella that I set off to face the elements, but it was clearly worth the effort.
The line-up was a pleasure to behold, some thirty recent Ferraris, including some lovely collectors like a white SP3 Daytona with blue interior, a couple of 812 Competizione coupé, a group of 812 GTS, some SF90s and some Roma Spiders. Above and beyond the models on show, it was the specifications that really stood out, with a number of original configurations. The age-old Rosso Corsa is on the way out and that's a good thing for people to let their imaginations run wild. |
