- RM Sotheby's Paris - The season opens with the traditional “French Car Week” in Paris in February. To kick things off in style, let's head to the Carrousel du Louvres, a basement gallery close to the famous Paris museum. This is where auction house RM Sotheby's has been holding its Paris sale for the past 3 years. The program remains attractive, with a strong focus on recent supercars: Bugatti Centodieci, Koenigsegg Agera, Ferrari LaFerrari with one-off paint or Pagani Huayra R. The star of the sale was the Ferrari 250 LM from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum, winner of the 1965 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which sold for almost €35 million. Other highlights included an Aston Martin DB6 Shooting Brake FLM Panelcraft and an astonishing selection of Porsches from a Belgian collection, “The Curated Collection”. Also of note is a magnificent Lamborghini Countach LP400 Periscopio repainted in silver-gray, and a Garnet Red Porsche 930 turbo Flat Nose.
