The Bugatti EB110 Supersport chassis SS09 is not the 1st production EB110 SS, since it is still a factory vehicle, as evidenced by the S9 sticker affixed to the top of the front fender. The EB110 Supersport S9 was fitted with the definitive front bumper with the aerodynamic mustache at the bottom, the brake cooling vent located behind front wheels and the lateral custode with 5 air inlet holes. However, when it was presented at the 1994 Geneva Motor Show, the rear spoiler was not the same as that fitted to the previous Supersport prototypes. It was a non-adjustable-tilt model, with the pillars aligned with the edges of the spoiler, instead of being positioned underneath it. This rear spoiler is none other than that of the future EB110 America, but it's hard to know why it was offered on the S9 at its launch. The rear spoiler was swapped with the production one later. |
