While most of the Supersport on chain were stopped, a group of cars were finished between the end of 1994 and 1995. What they have in common was that they are neither US nor European versions. Only the cars for the special specification markets were able to escape the lack of parts. However, it is likely that the parts for the interior came from the development cars of Reparto Esperienza, which served as a parts bank.
The Bugatti EB110 Supersport chassis SS39 was the last EB110 delivered to a customer.
It
was ordered via the Bugatti importer of Switzerland, the Chevalley Group. The SS39 was finished in Giallo Bugatti with a standard Supersport interior, in one-tone Nero Inchios. Again, this late production Supersport was probably completed due to the swiss market destination. Concerning the engine, the car was fitted with a block (probably a GT unit) recovered from a development model of the Reparto Esperienze of the factory. The car was delivered in Nyon (Switzerland) and licensed in Geneva. In June 1995, the car was serviced in Germany and offered for sale in Carugati, in Plan Les Ouates (Switzerland). It was sold in Germany and then in Switzerland. |
